Ende Juni hat an der Hochschule Kehl der dritte Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) Hochschultag Baden-Württemberg stattgefunden. Im Fokus der Veranstaltung stand das Ziel 11 „Nachhaltige Städte und Gemeinden“ zur Umsetzung der Agenda 2030 der Vereinten Nationen. The third Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) University Day Baden-Württemberg took place at Kehl University of Applied Sciences at the end of June. ASA-Programm von Engagement Global
Das ASA-Programm, ein entwicklungspolitisches Austausch- und Stipendienprogramm von Engagement Global gGmbH, startet in die aktive Bewerbungsphase seines aktuellen Förderzyklus. ASA-Hochschule richtet sich an in Deutschland tätige Hochschulinstitute und Universitäten mit internationalen Vorhaben beziehungsweise Partnerstrukturen, die sich für Nachhaltigkeit und Innovation in der Forschungspraxis einsetzen. Gemeinsam mit einer oder mehreren Partnerinstitutionen in einem Land Afrikas, Asiens, Lateinamerikas oder Südosteuropas entwickeln diese eine Projektidee. Projektvorschläge können bis zum 15.09.2024 eingereicht werden.

The ASA program, a development policy exchange and scholarship program of Engagement Global gGmbH, is entering the active application phase of its current funding cycle. ASA University is aimed at higher education institutions and universities operating in Germany with international projects or partner structures that are committed to sustainability and innovation in research practice. Together with one or more partner institutions in a country in Africa, Asia, Latin America or South-East Europe, they develop a project idea. Project proposals can be submitted until 15 September, 2024.
Junges Engagement weltweit für die Agenda 2030 | Youth-led action for the 2030 Agenda around the world
Die Europäische Union und die Initiative Global Youth Mobilization (GYM) starteten kürzlich einen Open Call für den EU Youth Empowerment Fund zur Förderung von jungen Menschen, die sozial und ökologisch nachhaltige Veränderungen in ihren Kommunen bewirken wollen. Im Fokus steht die Umsetzung der Agenda 2030 mit ihren Nachhaltigkeitszielen (SDGs). Junge Menschen im Alter von 14 bis 30 Jahren aus Ländern, die für offizielle Entwicklungshilfe (ODA) berechtigt sind, können bis zum 21. Juli 2024 Bewerbungen einreichen.
Förderung:
- Einzelpersonen und non-formale Gruppen: 500 - 1500 EUR
- Jugendorganisationen / Registrierte jugendgeführte Organisationen und formalisierte Gruppen: 3000 - 5000 EUR
Gesuchte Projekte:
- Projekte, die globale Herausforderungen im Einklang mit den Zielen für nachhaltige Entwicklung (SDGs) angehen, sind auswahlberechtigt
- Insbesondere Projekte von oder für unterrepräsentierte Menschen und Gruppen, einschließlich junger Menschen in schwierigen Umständen, aus sozioökonomisch benachteiligten Hintergründen, Menschen mit Diskriminierungserfahrung und Menschen mit Behinderung
- Insbesondere Projekte zu Klimawandel, Klimagerechtigkeit und ökologischer Nachhaltigkeit
- Projekte, die in Ländern durchgeführt werden, die ODA berechtigt sind
Unterstützung für die Bewerbung & Auswahlprozess:
- Es werden unter anderem Capacity-Strengthening-Webinare angeboten, um die Bewerbungen noch passgenauer zu schreiben.
- Ein internationales Jugendpanel prüft und bewertet die Bewerbungen. Bewerber*innen werden innerhalb von zwei Monaten benachrichtigt. Abgelehnte Bewerber*innen erhalten Verbesserungsvorschläge.
- Erfolgreiche Projekte erhalten finanzielle und ideelle Förderung in Form von Workshops, Mentorship und Begleitung der Projektdurchführung (wenn gewünscht).

The European Union and the Global Youth Mobilization (GYM) initiative recently launched an open call for the EU Youth Empowerment Fund to support young people who want to bring about socially and environmentally sustainable change in their communities. The focus is on implementing the 2030 Agenda with its Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Young people aged 14 to 30 from countries eligible for Official Development Assistance (ODA) can submit applications until July 21, 2024.
Funding:

Projects sought:
- Projects that address global challenges in line with the SDGs are eligible for selection

- In particular projects on climate change, climate justice and environmental sustainability

Support for the application & selection process:
- Among other things, capacity-strengthening webinars are offered to make applications even more suitable.
- An international youth panel reviews and evaluates the applications. Applicants are notified within two months. Rejected applicants receive suggestions for improvement.
- Successful projects receive financial and non-material support in the form of workshops, mentorship and support for project implementation (if desired).
SLE Postgraduate Programme "International Cooperation for Sustainable Development"
Das Programm richtet sich an motivierte Master-Absolvent*innen, die ihre beruflichen Kenntnisse, Methoden und Werte vertiefen und reflektieren wollen. Jedes Jahr wählt das Programm 20 interdisziplinäre und internationale Young Professionals aus, die an ihrem Programm teilnehmen. In Berlin erwartet Sie ein interaktives Kursprogramm und ein praxisnahes Training mit Hands-on-Projekten in Partnerländern und in kleinen Gruppen mit realen Herausforderungen. Profitieren Sie von dem wertvollen Netzwerk und nehmen Sie an individuellen Coachings für einen erfolgreichen Berufseinstieg im Bereich der internationalen Entwicklung teil.

The programme is aimed at motivated Master's graduates who wish to deepen and reflect on their professional knowledge, methods and values. Each year the programme selects 20 interdisciplinary and international Young Professionals to join their programme. In Berlin, you can expect an interactive course programme and practical training with hands-on projects in partner countries and in small groups with real-life challenges. Förderung Lehrarchitektur
Hochschullehre soll Studierende befähigen, die Gesellschaft heute und morgen zu gestalten. Die Stiftung Innovation in der Hochschullehre will am Kern ansetzen und die wissenschaftliche Praxis des Lehrens und Lernens stärken. Hochschulen können in dieser Ausschreibung ihr Profil schärfen und Strukturen für Studium und Lehre weiterentwickeln.
„Lehrarchitektur“ dreht sich um die Erprobung und strukturelle Verankerung von Innovationen in Studium und Lehre. Die Antragstellung wird Ende Juli 2024 geöffnet. Die Laufzeit der Projekte beträgt maximal sechs Jahre. Das bereitgestellte Fördervolumen umfasst etwa 480 Millionen Euro.

University teaching should enable students to shape society today and tomorrow. The Innovation in University Teaching Foundation aims to address the core and strengthen the academic practice of teaching and learning. Universities can sharpen their profile and further develop structures for studying and teaching in this call for proposals.
"Teaching Architecture" is all about testing and structurally anchoring innovations in teaching and learning. Applications will open at the end of July 2024. The projects will run for a maximum of six years. The funding volume provided amounts to around 480 million euros.
