The Forum der Kulturen Stuttgart e.V. in cooperation with Unser buntes Engen e.V. and AWOLI e.V. invites you to the:
Regional conference of the development policy migrant network in Baden-Württemberg
When: Friday, the 8th of December 2023, 15:30 - 20.00.
Where: Engen, Engen town hall (Hohenstoffelstraße 3a, 78234 Engen)
The event aims to promote and raise the profile of migrant engagement in development policy. At the same time, the conference offers space for networking and the joint development of ideas by all stakeholders.
The event is aimed at migrants active in development policy and their organizations, representatives of other development policy organizations and networks as well as other One World actors. Furthermore, local administration and policy stakeholders from specialist areas related to sustainability, development policy and global processes (e.g. international affairs, integration, education, social affairs, local agenda, town twinning, environment, etc.) are cordially invited.
The following schedule is planned:
- 15.30 - 16.00 Arrival with coffee and tea
- 16.00 - 16.30 Welcome of the participants
- 16.30 - 17.00 Presentation of the Migrant Network
- 17.00 - 18.00 Presentation of the Migrant Network position paper and discussion
- 18.00 - 19.00 Development policy engagement in the district of Constance: Example of the associations Unser buntes Engen e.V. and AWOLI e.V.
- 19.00 - 19.30 Closing discussion
- From 19.30 Exchange and networking over dinner together
