ENGAGEMENT GLOBAL is the focal point in Germany for development policy engagement and unites under one roof initiatives and programs that are actively engaged in development policy work for a just global togetherness. Engagement Global works on behalf of the German government and is funded by the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development. Engagement Global shares the Ministry's goal of encouraging more citizens to become involved in development policy.
We are looking for a Student Assistant for our office in Stuttgart as of 1st of September 2023. The position with 43 hours per month is limited until the 31st of August 2024.
Engagement Global supports numerous development policy projects, campaigns and initiatives throughout Germany with a total of six offices. The goal is to strengthen and structurally anchor development education and community engagement for global issues regionally. The office in Stuttgart is responsible for Baden-Württemberg and Bavaria. It works in networks with civil society organizations, state actors, municipalities and churches.
Your tasks:
- Support in the organization, planning and implementation of educational events
- Research activities
- Office organization and coordination as well as general administrative tasks
- Support of event and attendance management via the CRM system
Requirements:
- proof of enrollment at a university
- very good knowledge of MS Office programs
- strong oral and written communication skills
- team-oriented approach, organizational skills and resilience
Salary: The activity has a scope of 43 hours per month and is remunerated with 12 Euro /hour.
